Uniswap Labs has officially unveiled its Android mobile wallet app, marking the successful conclusion of beta testing. The application, complete with a built-in swap capability, is now publicly available for download on the Google Play store. Unlike its predecessor, the new Android app eradicates the necessity for a separate web browser extension. Users can seamlessly execute swaps directly through the decentralized exchange (DEX) within the application.

Improved Wallet Address Display

Addressing user feedback received during the closed beta phase, Uniswap Labs Vice President of Design, Callil Capuozzo, highlighted improvements made to the app’s wallet address display. These enhancements aim to streamline the process of copying and pasting wallet addresses for users.

Global Language Support

In response to user demands, Uniswap has broadened language support in its Android app. The application now offers language options in English, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, French, and both traditional and simplified Chinese.

View Crypto Value in Local Currency

Recognizing the diverse user base, the Uniswap team has introduced a feature allowing users to view the value of their crypto holdings in their local currency. This enhancement provides a more user-friendly experience for individuals worldwide.

Public Release and Market Presence

The Android version of the Uniswap app became publicly accessible after a closed beta launch on Oct. 12. Uniswap Labs had previously released the iOS version in April, expanding its market presence across different mobile platforms.
