The United States saw an unprecedented surge in inflows to spot Ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on November 11, marking the highest one-day inflow in history. As Ethereum’s price rallies following Trump’s election victory, ETFs collectively attracted $294.9 million in inflows, a significant leap from the previous record of $106.6 million on their July launch day.
Leading the Pack: Fidelity and BlackRock ETFs
Among these funds, the Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) was the top performer, amassing $115.5 million in new investments, setting a personal record. Following closely, BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) saw inflows totaling $100.5 million. These figures, shared by Farside Investors and verified by crypto data aggregator Tree News, reflect growing confidence in Ethereum’s potential.
“Ethereum, which has trailed behind for much of this cycle, is now beginning to attract interest,” noted Rachael Lucas, a crypto analyst at BTC Markets, in a recent statement to Cointelegraph. Lucas highlighted that, while Ether has lagged behind Bitcoin and Solana, it’s now gaining traction as a bullish sentiment spreads across the market.
Other Key Players Join the Surge
The Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust ETF (ETH) experienced significant inflows of $63.3 million, while Bitwise’s Ethereum ETF (ETHW) attracted an additional $15.6 million. Other U.S.-based spot Ether ETFs, however, reported no new inflows.
Ether’s Price Rises Alongside Broader Crypto Market
This historic inflow coincided with Ether’s own 8.4% price rally, reaching a 14-week high of $3,384, according to data from CoinGecko. The broader crypto market experienced a similar boost, with an average 10% rise, although Ether is still playing catch-up to outperform Bitcoin and Solana.
CoinGecko tweeted, “Ethereum reaches new heights with an 8.4% increase following the U.S. ETF inflow surge. Will it maintain the momentum?”
Optimism for Ether Under New U.S. Administration
CK Zheng, co-founder of ZX Squared Capital, is optimistic about Ethereum’s future under Trump’s administration, which he believes will foster a pro-crypto environment. “ETH and SOL are likely to perform strongly in the coming months if the new Trump administration actively supports blockchain technology,” Zheng shared with Cointelegraph, hinting that such backing could speed up the adoption of digital finance in the U.S.
Since their launch in July, U.S. spot Ether ETFs have accumulated a total of $3.1 billion in inflows, excluding outflows from the Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE), which has seen a near-equal amount of $3.13 billion in outflows. With $1.5 billion in inflows, BlackRock’s ETHA leads the charge, signifying that traditional investors are warming up to Ethereum as an asset class.
As Ether continues its momentum, investors and analysts are closely watching to see if Ethereum will further solidify its place in this bullish cycle.
